There are two ways of installing a floor in rows. The first one is the floating (sliding) method (for three-layer parquet boards), while the other installation method involves gluing the boards (three-layer parquet boards, two-layer parquet boards and solid boards). Our many years of experience have shown us that the most frequent method for installing a floor is by gluing. Gluing the boards is the more expensive method, as it requires glue and the boards need to be pressed down with weights and tightened with belts during the installation; however, when walking on such a floor, the surface feels steady and the boards will not move.
The price of installing a floating floor in rows includes:
1. Preparation of the base:
If the base is concrete – cleaning the construction residue, sanding the concrete and vacuuming
If the floor is installed on a slab – cleaning the construction residue and vacuuming
2. Laying a film
3. Laying an underlay
4. Installing the parquet boards
5. Removing the debris
